WILLIAM KEH, M.D. ,52, is Executive Vice President for Tzu Chi Foundation, USA and Chief Executive Officer for Tzu Chi Free Clinic in Los Angeles.

In this capacity, he helps to re-engineer the corporate structure, set up strategic plans for the Foundation and is in charge of the domestic and international humanitarian aid and medical missions. At the Free Clinic in Los Angeles, He supervises the medical services to low-income families in the greater Los Angeles area and the outreach programs to surrounding rural communities. Prior to this, Dr. Keh was involved with local charitable work and in international disaster missions including in the Dominica Republic for Hurricane George, and in Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua for Hurricane Mitch, in Colombia and El Salvador for earthquakes, among others. 

Dr. Keh graduated from the School of Medicine, Taiwan University in 1977. He came to USA after he had a one- year surgical residency at Veteran General Hospital in Taipei in 1979 and after serving in Chinese Air Force for two years. He finished his residency training at Downstate Medical Center, SUNY in New York in 1984. He later joined Mount Sinai Medical Center as attending physician from 1984 to 1991.

As an entrepreneur, he built with his wife their garment business from scratch to a sizable company with yearly revenue of $25 million dollars from 1984 to 1997. He received his Executive MBA degree from Baruch College, CUNY in 1996.
