International Seminar on ICT Policy Reform and Rural Communication Infrastructure

IRFD, TEK Foundation and CIER have embarked on a comprehensive ICT-ERC action projects for remote villages in developing countries, especially Asia. This joint effort will result in establishing 50,000 Globally Based Computerized and Electronic Education Infrastructure Network (Education Resource Centers) and implementing a comprehensive “e-Community Development Strategy.”

NetGrowth is an initiative proposed by the Advisory Council for Global ICT Education Program comprising of 30 universities and developmental institutions convened at the Workshop at MIT October 2003 to establish a global education system to develop Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in developing countries.
